Over sheeting

Over sheeting can be adapted for most pitched roofs and cladding. This means
the original roof or cladding remains in place providing weather protection,
whilst a proprietary spacer bar system is installed to support the new
covering.
A choice of roof and cladding coverings can be utilised such as colour
coated steel and aluminium profiled sheeting. Standing seam and concealed fix
systems are available for low-pitch roof applications.
Oversheeting also provides an ideal opportunity to incorporate
additional insulation, thereby reducing heat loss through the roof.
Oversheeting is a great way to solve many roofing problems with the
added bonus of providing extra insulation as well. It can save you time, worry
and money. It is also environmentally friendly in that it allows you to
increase insulation, reducing energy usage and heating costs.
What is it?
Rather than removing the old roof and completely re-roofing the
building, corrugated cladding is fitted over the top of the old roof. There is
a huge range of oversheeting systems available to suit any requirement or
budget and fitting is usually straightforward.
